The Conference Hall accommodates up to 120 delegates in a setting that is professional and memorable. Individual spaces are available for breakout sessions, committee meetings, or board discussions running alongside the main event. Three Underground stations are within a short walk, and the London Victoria mainline is just minutes on foot.

We talk through requirements with every organiser in advance and encourage a visit before you book for the first time. The rooms have a character that is better appreciated in person than on screen. On the day, our team is available throughout to set up AV and ensure the practical side of the event runs without you having to think about it.

Catering can be as simple or as extravagant as your AGM calls for. For meetings on the 1st & 2nd Floors, tea, coffee, biscuits and water can be provided. Beyond that, you can bring your own caterer, work with one of our recommended suppliers, or arrange a post-AGM lunch in the same space once formalities have concluded.
Mary Sumner House has spaces suited to AGMs of varying sizes. Part of what makes the space so suitable is the ability to use rooms in combination, so that the formal meeting, committee sessions, and breakout discussions can all happen under one roof while maintaining privacy.
For larger AGMs, the Conference Hall is the natural option. It holds up to 120 in theatre configuration and scales comfortably to smaller numbers without losing its atmosphere. It can equally be set in boardroom or cabaret configurations for organisations whose AGMs are discussion-based.
For smaller organisations, the meeting rooms offer something more fitting. Each is named after a woman who shaped history: Mary Sumner herself, Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, Maya Angelou, Wangari Maathai and others. These spaces are well-equipped, characterful spaces that offer intimacy and class.

Mary Sumner House is owned and operated by Mothers’ Union, a Christian charity founded in 1876 whose work reaches 84 countries and four million members. Mothers’ Union’s programmes tackle domestic abuse, support families in crisis, and provide literacy and economic empowerment to vulnerable women and communities worldwide.

The nearby Underground stations are Victoria, Westminster and Jubilee, served by the Victoria, Jubilee, District and Circle lines. London Victoria mainline is four minutes on foot, with direct services from across the country.

Yes. We will discuss the number of delegates attending and the formats you want to utilise to suggest a seating arrangement that works for you. Microphones for questions from the floor and a lectern for the speaker will be provided. For smaller rooms, we’ll talk through your specific requirements in advance to make sure everything is in place.
Yes. The conference Hall can accommodate hybrid formats, with remote participants joining via video link while in-person proceedings continue in the room. We’d recommend discussing your platform and any remote voting requirements at the enquiry stage so we can confirm the setup works for your meeting.
Catering can be as simple or as extravagant as your AGM requires. Every booking includes hot drinks and water, which covers the basics without additional arrangements. If you require something more, we can recommend suppliers we work with regularly to produce a working lunch between sessions or a post AGM reception. You are also more than welcome to make your own arrangements.
It depends on the size of your organisation and how you plan to use the space. As a guide, our smaller rooms start at £215 per session, and the Conference Hall is available from £1,285 per day.
