Our 8 meeting rooms and Conference Hall offer state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, flexible catering options to suit every occasion, and a commitment to making our spaces accessible for all. We are also taking steps to become more sustainable and encourage clients to consider the environmental impact of their events.
Mary Sumner House is equipped with modern audio-visual technology to ensure your event is delivered smoothly. Venue hire of our first- and second-floor meeting rooms includes the use of a display screen, perfect for presentations, interviews, training sessions, and workshops. Our Conference Hall includes the use of a projector and screen, making it ideal for small conferences, media briefings, and discussions.
Additional equipment available in our meeting rooms includes video conferencing equipment and flipcharts/paper/pens. Hand-held microphones, lectern microphone, as well as video conferencing and flipchart/paper/pens are available in the Conference Hall. We also have several audio-visual packages available in the Conference Hall to support any hybrid or virtual event requirements.
Our first and second floor meeting rooms are available with refreshments including tea, coffee, biscuits, and water from just £6 per person including VAT. For the Conference Hall all refreshments and catering have to be supplied by external caterers. Whilst we aren’t able to provide in-house catering, we have several caterers we can recommend: Spoilt for Choice or Sands Catering.
Spoilt for Choice specialise in providing exceptional catering services, with seasonal menus crafted to cater to all dietary requirements. All food is prepared on the day of delivery by their expert team of chefs, ensuring that every dish is delicious, healthy, and fresh.
Sands Catering offer a wide selection of menus, with the option to build your own package tailored to your team’s needs. They are known for their innovative food menus which follow sustainable practices, including sourcing locally grown produce, using renewable power sources, and reducing water use.
Alternatively, you are welcome to use caterers of your choosing. So, whether you’re planning to start your morning meeting with a delicious breakfast spread, or hosting an all-day conference with a lunch time break to include a selection of sandwiches and finger food, you can choose catering tailored to suit your event requirements or any guests’ dietary needs.
Our Grade II listed building provides a variety of versatile spaces to suit events of all sizes, set within our beautiful building just a short walk from Victoria station.
From boardroom-style meeting rooms ideal for smaller groups to larger conference spaces, each space can be arranged to meet your specific requirements. For assistance finding the right space for your event, please reach out to our events team who will be happy to help.
Mary Sumner House is committed to ensuring that everyone can fully participate in events held at our venue. The building offers step-free access and lift access to the Lower Ground, Ground, 1st and 2nd Floors for meeting rooms. A stair lift is also available for access to the Conference Hall. Accessible toilet facilities are located on the 2nd and 4th Floors, reached via the lift.

Yes. Our recommended caterers are able to accommodate dietary requirements. Alternatively, you are welcome to use caterers of your choosing to ensure any dietary requirements are catered for.
Yes. There is a ramp from street level into the building, and lifts to access Lower Ground, Ground, 1st & 2nd Floors for meeting rooms. The Conference Hall on the Lower Ground floor can be accessed by the stair lift for wheelchair users, and there are disabled access toilets on the 2nd and 4th floors. If you or your guests have specific accessibility requirements, please let us know ahead of your event and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

We don’t have on-site parking available, however, there are plenty of public car parks close to the venue that you can use, including Q-Park Victoria. There are also taxi drop-off points directly outside Mary Sumner House.
